Qur'an Hifz (Memorization) Program

Based on a proven methodolgy, serious students who aspire to memorization of the Holy Qur'an are encouraged to join this program.

Both Summer-only and the Full-time programs are designed under the traditional and proven methodology where students memorize, revise and strengthen, then move forward. Both programs are based on a 4-5 hour day, 5 days weekly (M-F).

Full-Time Hifz Program

The Full-time program is for serious students whose parents are dedicated to achieving for their children or for themselves the lofty and honorable goal of being an authorized Quran Hafiz (an Expert Memorizer of the Holy Quran). For schoolgoing students, homeschooling is required for this program. IECRC will provide a dedicated, qualified and experienced Qur’an Hafiz to help the student memorize in a traditional manner. Additionally, IECRC will guide parents on how they can homeschool while on this program. School Tution help may become available if enough parents are willing to support such help.

About Homeschooling: Homeschooling is a viable option for children in California and the State pays for the curriculum and teachers. Many families Muslim and Non-Muslim, have opted for homeschooling and this is not something new. Homeschooling works great with our program because children can complete their school education in much less time than they would have if they go to a full-time school. IECRC will explain how homeschooling fits in the Hifz program.

Summer-Only Program

This program is an equally rigorous program as the Full-time program with the exception that each year it ends when school starts. For those parents who would like to try out whether their children have the potential or who just want their children to attempt memorize the last Juz, the Summer program is an excellent start and trail period.

Limited housing (occupancy only, no food or other services available) may be available for adults only, while room is available.
