Religious, Spiritual, and Counseling Services

Since 9/11, the Muslim community in the United States has come under fire due to the misdeeds of a few. As a result, the community finds itself under stresses resulting from both global and local events and influences. The financial crisis worldwide has also added the stress that families face. Additionally, nationwide, American (both Muslim and non-Muslim) are seeking and applying alternative treatments and prevention of chronic physical, psychological, and spiritual ailments.  The IECRC services below are aimed at relieving such stress and at proving an alternative outlet to chronic ailments affecting people from all walks of society:

Gatherings of Remembrance

  • Bi-weekly spiritual gatherings of remembrance (dhikr)
  • Monthly Commemorations of Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani (Allah be pleased with him) and Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti (Allah have mercy on him)

Counseling and Healing

  • Counseling & healing services based on traditional Islamic Ruqya, and Islamic Psychology (provided weekly and by appointment as needed free of charge)
